Sugar Cane growers and harvest contractors need access to timely data and harvest-time decision support. Getting the harvest timing right can mean less costs and better prices.
Sugar Research Australia (SRA) collates harvest‑timing research for growers, however delivery via Excel sheets was outdated.
SRA’s vision was to move its proven spreadsheet model into the cloud for real-time use by growers.
Solution - AWS Serverless
Clevvi re-created the Excel‑based model as a mobile app on AWS Serverless – with scale-down capacity in non-harvest periods to control costs.
Easy and cost effective for SRA to administer, the application empowers growers with the information they need to make informed harvest decisions.
An intuitive admin console means SRA can refresh research and advisory inputs quickly.
